TSI

In 1961, University of Minnesota alumni Leroy (Mike) Fingerson, Ph.D., and Lowell Nystrom, and three other engineers started working on a project which would naturally become TSI Incorporated. As TSI grew into national and international markets, their community widened. Presently, in addition to U of M, they work closely with colleges, universities, research centers, government agencies, non-profits, and businesses around the world. A wide number of their engineers are also educators, engaging the next generation of creators and scientists in the classroom—or bringing them onsite for hands-on learning. They feel a responsibility of giving back to the cities, neighborhoods, and students some opportunities which allowed them for growing and flourishing.
